topped off with a friendship fall out .
He vowed to always be there
but his eyes said different.
Proclaimed..
to never be played by another bitch
back then,
I thought there was a difference
between me & a trick
but I guess you become what you practice.
There were sorrys,
long enough to wrap around his earth twice
but he doesn't remember those
& I couldn't recall our happiness or his I love yous.
I destroyed a man in name of secular selfishness.
Now he's married.. 2 gorgeous kids
& I'm lonely

Proceeds heavily
Helplessly left open to wander
Somber looms in shades of gray
From the nightstand on in, the sole illumination
Scene, vintage
The art, an abstract creation
Painting white sheets soulful
Vibe leaking from the extremity
Pleading excess
Provided and abided
Mastering it in its raw form
The Supreme Being exaggerated
Masterpiece ceased to reach completion
The process showered with gratitude
